I designed this logo for celebrity barber Donald P. Long. We built his new website, and to go with it I wanted to give Donald something that represented him, and his brand and flowed with his new website.
For Donald’s logo, I took inspiration from Kevin Durant’s KD logo which always caught my eye. The simplicity of his logo is one of the reasons why I admire it so much.
When planning what I was going to do for Donald’s logo, once I had the vision in my mind of what I wanted his website to look like, I instantly knew what kind of logo I wanted to create for him.
Donald Long isn’t your average person or barber. He runs multiple barber shops and brands, and I wanted Donald’s logo to look clean so that if he were to print it on clothing or do something else with it, it would shine in the market. Like Donald’s website, his new logo has flow. The modern and minimalist design makes it pop and the simplicity carries beauty. This is one of my favorite logos that I designed, and it couldn’t have gone to a better person.
