Yes, you’re going to die. It’s the only guarantee in life and it’s the harsh truth.

The Stoics have two phrases, Memento Mori and Amor Fati which I live by, and are a big reason why I consistently pursue human greatness in all things.

Memento Mori means “Remember you must die” and with that, the Stoics used the principle of memento mori as a reminder to affirm life and to create the urgent pursuit of a meaningful life as a constant and focused priority. A call to life! And the affirmation of life. The Stoics saw each day of life as precious, a gift, and the awareness that we are mortal and that we all must die is a constant reminder not to waste the most precious commodity in life: time.

This is the reason why no matter what I do, I “pour it on” in anything that I do, as stated in my previous Quick Post #15 (Link). With time being our most precious commodity, I look at ways of how do I create more time or use my time doing something that I love.

Most people are scared to leave their comfort zone to pursue something they truly love because they think “I’ll do it someday when the time is “right”. Time is never “right”. The time when it is right is when something hits your heart and your deep inner core.

I often hear grown adults say that they’ll pursue their dreams when they retire. How do you know you’ll be fit to pursue your dreams when you retire? They say it confidently like they know for certain they’ll be alive. Anything can happen tomorrow.

A lot of the greatest ideas that could have been something huge are now buried in graveyards all over the world because those ideas went with the people who departed from Earth.

We have one shot at life. We were all born with the ability to dream. Go out there and make some noise. Let your ideas shine, let your voice be heard, and be the best version of yourself every day.

Share your story with me, I look forward to hearing what you’re working on and I’ll be here rooting for you. You got this.

Your logo is the face of your brand and it plays a critical role in establishing brand identity. A well-designed logo helps to communicate your brand’s values, mission, and identity to your target audience. It can also help you stand out from the competition and build brand recognition.

However, designing a logo is not an easy task, especially if you don’t have any design experience. It requires a combination of creativity, skill, and experience to create a design that accurately represents your brand and appeals to your target audience.

Without these skills, attempting to design your own logo can be a costly mistake. It may end up looking unprofessional, generic, or inconsistent with your brand’s identity. This can harm your brand’s reputation, make you look unprofessional and potentially turn potential customers away.

In fact, studies have shown that consumers are more likely to trust a brand with a professional logo over a brand with a poorly designed logo. A poorly designed logo can give potential customers the impression that your business is amateurish, untrustworthy, or not serious about its brand identity.

Additionally, designing your own logo can be a time-consuming process, and the end result may not be what you envisioned. This can lead to frustration and wasted time, which could be better spent on other aspects of your business.

By contrast, working with a professional logo designer can ensure that your logo accurately represents your brand and appeals to your target audience. Professional designers understand the importance of a cohesive brand identity and can ensure that your logo aligns with your brand’s values and goals. They also have the expertise and skills necessary to create a logo that stands out from the competition and builds brand recognition.

In conclusion, designing your own logo without any design experience is not recommended. It can harm your brand’s reputation, make you look unprofessional, and potentially turn potential customers away. Instead, investing in professional design services can help you create a unique and memorable logo that accurately represents your brand and appeals to your target audience, and ultimately help your business succeed in a crowded marketplace.
