The Daddy Bag (2017)
This was the fastest product I ever created. It took 3 weeks to go from an idea in my head while sitting in traffic to having an actual product in hand.
After my daughter was born my wife was using a diaper bag that was big and bulky. I thought that there had to be something better. I searched the market for a minimalist diaper bag and nothing existed, so I figured I’ll make one.
The end result was a compartmentalized minimalist diaper backpack that is not only beautiful in design but also high in quality. We launched a Kickstarter campaign and raised our goal within 24 hours. We also had a deal with a big box retailer, but we pulled back for specific reasons. Back then when the Daddy Bag launched, I didn’t have the full knowledge of what I know today, and if I did I would’ve done things a lot differently, but I learned a lot and I am very happy with what we achieved.
I was very happy with the Daddy Bag and who knows, maybe a version 2 in the future. Anything is possible.
